How much can the FA Cup triumph help Arsenal and Arteta if they beat Chelsea in the Final?

We can’t say that it has been a good season for Arsenal, but they can end it on a high

This season has arguably been the most disappointing season for anyone connected with Arsenal Football Club. Unai Emery had a horrible season and was inevitably sacked in November. Surprisingly, M. Arteta Amatriain was given a task of rebuilding this great club. A top-half finish was looking uncertain a few weeks ago. Now finishing in the European places is unlikely. However, Arsenal can still make it to the Europa League if they beat London rivals, Chelsea, in the FA Cup

Since Arteta’s arrival, Arsenal have looked more organized defensively. In possession, they look a totally different proposition under the Spaniard. Win against Manchester City in the semi-final came as a huge surprise. They didn’t only win but also kept a clean sheet against a free-scoring Manchester City side.

Under Arteta, Arsenal play to their strengths as they use the pace of talisman P. Aubameyang, long passing range of David Luiz. D. Ceballos Fernández also looks a totally different player under Arteta. Youngster B. Saka has probably been Arsenal’s best player after skipper Aubameyang. E. Nketiah is also excelling under new management.

Welcome to Europa League

A couple of weeks ago, European football next season seemed impossible. Now, they are one win away from getting a place in the Europa League next season. It would be a massive achievement, considering the situation earlier. With European football, Arsenal will also be able to attract better players. The economic significance of the Europa League will be a massive bonus in itself for the club.

We can’t say that it has been a good season for Arsenal, but they can end it on a high. Specifically, in Arteta’s time, the team has improved massively. Individually the players look much better, and signs of a bright future are clear. Now the question is, Can they beat Chelsea and get some silverware in an extremely disappointing season?
