There weren’t many chances in the first half as United gradually grew into the game. Chances were few and far between, but Leicester were looking the more dangerous side overall. [player 1488] was dropping deep to link up the play, and [player 1182]’s runs in behind were effective.
Overall, Leicester City were the better side and looked favourite to go on and win the game. However, the home side did have some of the best players on the bench, including Fernandes, Rashford, and [player 96088].
Second-Half
Like the first half, the foxes started the second half by putting this inexperienced United side under pressure. Again, with the new defensive partnership and irregular full-backs, there were mistakes that could have been costly.
Leicester City were creating decent opportunities from open play but weren’t clinical enough. To add more guile and creativity to their attack, Maddison was sent on replacing [player 1396]. Maddison occupied the no.10 position, with Tielemans also starting attacks from deep. Now, Leicester were dominating while United were struggling to get. The red devils didn’t have any outlet to counter-attack as Leicester’s pressing was spot on.

There was only a single chance when Bruno’s side-footed effort went off target. Although, apart from that, there was nothing in United’s attacking play.
